No Bean Chili Dip

Happy Monday Love Bugs,

The Super Bowl was a blast (well…. actually the ‘blast’ part was the performance by the amazing Bruno Mars, that’s it) and I can honestly say, I don’t want to look at food for a whole month ever again.  Boy oh boy did we eat.  Aside from the chicken salad dip that I made, I decided to make another finger food that was a real hit!  I can’t take credit for it though.  Every time my friend Lorraine is at a party, I know what she will be bringing….her famous no bean chili dip.  I absolutely love this dish, and decided it would be great for Superbowl Sunday.

This no bean chili dip is the easiest dip you will ever make, and let me tell you, I wish I made more because it went flying!  All you need are three ingredients:


Sorry the cheese is all gone, I used it up before I took the pic!

1 8 oz. package of cream cheese

1 8 oz. can of Hormel no bean chili

1 16 oz. package of shredded cheddar cheese


Grab an aluminum foil pan and spread the cream cheese all over the bottom.  Next, spread the chili over the cream cheese layer.  Finally, layer the shredded cheddar cheese over the chili.  Put it in the oven at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes, or until hot.  Serve with your favorite chips (I prefer Tostitos scoops so that I can grab a nice chunk of dip, because I’m a fatty =) ).
