Hi Love Bug,

Star Wars: The Force Awakens has broken box office records, and its no wonder why, the film was absolutely amazing!  I feel like I have been waiting an eternity for this film, so my excitement that day was through the roof!  I  felt so many emotions while I sat there with my BB-8 popcorn bucket and a smile plastered across my face the entire time!

The Force Awakens focuses on the Empire and the Resistance both searching for a long lost Luke Skywalker.  Along the way, we meet new characters like Rey (played by Daisy Ridley), Finn (played by John Boyega), Kylo Ren (played by Adam Driver), Poe Dameron (played by Oscar Issac), Maz Kanata (played by Lupita Nyong’o) and of course, the lovable BB-8 (whew, that’s a lot of newbies)!  Not only will you fall in love with the new characters, but our favorite classic characters are also brought back and infused with the new storyline, including R2D2, C3PO, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, and of course, Han Solo.  I personally love how the original characters were brought into the film at moments when you lest expect them!

Showing Chewie some love!

This film was action packed and left nothing to the imagination with its defined graphics and out of this world special effects.  Watching it in 3-D made it look so real too.  The storyline was fascinating, and although I still have a bunch of unanswered questions, I know they will be answered in Episode 8 and 9.  I have to say, the part that actually made me cry was when Han Solo was killed.  I really wasn’t expecting that and I could not believe I started crying! Don’t worry though, the crying stopped when I realized my mascara wasn’t waterproof! LOL!

I have to say I fell in love with Rey’s character and BB-8 the most!  She is a kick-butt kind of girl and I love that about her!  She reminds me a lot about myself!  Finn was also very comical, which I enjoyed very much.  J.J. Abrams did a fantastic job at implementing small comical parts throughout the film. I love movies that are cleverly written like that!  The costumes were exquisite too!

Like always, I had to go to this film in style!  My sister and I wore matching shirts (from the amazing line of Rock & Republic at Kohls) with matching Star Wars Leggings (from Target) and of course, my Star Wars Vans (from Journeys).

Due to its fantastic storyline, special effects, and graphics, I rate The Force Awakens 5 out of 5 stars!
