Bar SixtyFive at Rainbow Room NYC

Happy Summer Love Bugs,

Summer is in full swing down here in South Florida and I can’t help but reminisce about  last years summer in NYC, my favorite city in the world.  I can’t wait to go back, but until then, I’ll just listen to Hamilton songs and drink out of my big apple mug while wearing my I love NY shirt.

New York is known for their amazing food, and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed with a single thing I ate while I was there.  There was, however, a bar that mesmerized me from the moment I walked in.  Bar SixtyFive is located on the 65th floor of 30 Rockefeller Plaza.  This intimate setting is modern, classy, chic, and the perfect place to grab a drink and tappas with friends or your significant other.  My friends and I decided to check it out after my taping at the Tonight Show, and I am so glad we did!

The views from the balcony of this bar are simply breathtaking.  I could not stop staring at the beautiful sky scrapers and city lights all throughout my visit.  There is an indoor and outdoor area to wine and dine in which is perfect for those that want a cool night out or warmer night in.  I decided to sample some croquettes and house potatoes and they were amazing.  We were able to relax after a long day while enjoying drinks, small plates, and top notch service at SixtyFive.  I highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York City!

  1. We’ve actually never been! But now that summer’s finally here and rooftop bars are a must, we may add this to the list. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
