Garnier SkinActive Micellar Makeup Removing Towelettes

Hi Love Bug,

As most of you know, I am obsessed with makeup.  What girl isn’t?  There is only one thing about it I’m not fond of, and that is removing it.  Since most of my makeup is long lasting and/or waterproof, I’m always looking for a way to remove it quickly without it taking up most of my time or without messing with my skin.

This month I was given Garnier’s new micellar makeup removing wipes to try them out.  For those that may not know (because I’ll admit, I didn’t either), micellar water is made up of micelles, or, tiny drops of cleansing oil molecules, that are suspended in water.  These micelles are attracted to dirt and oil, so the idea is that they will clean out impurities in the skin.

I noticed that these wipes are super convenient an easy to travel with.  I love that they are fragrance free and are super smooth on the skin.  I can see how these would be great for anyone with sensitive skin or those that wear light makeup.  While they didn’t really do the job for me with my eye make-up (since it is waterproof and I always have to use waterproof makeup remover for that part of my face) they did a swell job at removing all of my full coverage foundation, bronzer, blush, and brow shadow with just one wipe.  Not too shabby!

These wipes are really gentle and they have a nice, silky texture as well, leaving the skin fresh and clean.  I love that my skin isn’t dried out from using them and you don’t have to scrub in a harsh manner to remove your makeup.

If you’re looking for a sensitive wipe, these are for you!  Try them out and comment below with your thoughts!
